Beta Launch Test Phase Terms & Conditions

1. Why we’re doing a Beta launch test phase?
Building the Arro Account is serious business and we want to be absolutely certain that we’re getting it right. So we’re doing a Beta launch to a limited number of our customers who are keen to get started with Arro Money, these are our Founding Members. During this testing phase we’ll be tweaking a few things and adding more features to your Arro Account, such as setting up Direct Debits and Standing Orders.
We’ll also ask you for your feedback, because as a Founding Member we want you to help us shape what the Arro Account should look like before it goes live to everyone.
2. How long will the Beta launch test phase last?
The beta phase will be in place until thorough feedback has been collated for all functionality. We will keep all customers notified regarding the duration of the beta period on a periodic basis. You have the right at any stage of the Beta launch to terminate your account should you wish.
3. What features will be available on your Arro Account during Beta launch test phase?
Almost everything will be ready. The biggest feature which won’t be available during the Beta launch test phase will be Direct Debits. We’ll also be making some minor upgrades behind the scenes to your online Dashboard and password reset screens, but we expect minimal disruption during these. While this is happening you’ll still be able to receive incoming payments to your Arro Account (e.g. salary), shop in store and online using your contactless Arro Debit Card and set up outgoing Faster Payments (e.g. to pay a bill or transfer money to a friend). Basically allowing you to make full use of your card and the features listed above, giving you control over your cash from the outset.
4. What fees will be charged during the Beta launch test phase?
To show our appreciation to Founding Members, we don’t want to charge our regular account fee of £10 per month during the Beta launch test phase. This is because some features such as setting up Direct Debits won’t be available and you are supporting Arro through our testing period. So during this phase we’re removing the £10 fee, result!
The only charges will be:-
a. £1 per ATM withdrawal made;
b. £1 per Faster Payment from your Arro Account;
c. Any overseas Debit Card usage. (For more information about fees for using your Arro Debit Card abroad please refer to Section 22 of our standard Terms & Conditions available at www.arromoney.com.
We hope this makes up for any disruptions you may encounter during the test phase. Once the Beta launch test phase has been completed, your Arro Account will be automatically transferred into our Public Launch at which point the regular fee pricing will begin (inc. the £10 per month account fee) and the Beta pricing structure above will cease. You will be informed of the charge before it happens. 5. Expected disruptions to service during the Beta launch test phase
There may be some minor disruptions to the service during Beta launch as we test and roll out new features to your Arro Account, and we’ll do our best to communicate these ahead of testing. If you do happen to come across any disruption, we apologise in advance – however, the chances are that our IT team will spot any issues first and they’ll be working around the clock to fix them before they affect you. They’re pretty hot on issues, so we’ll be impressed if you discover any first! In any case you can be assured, your funds will be treated in exactly the same as when we go fully live to the public. 6. What happens to my Arro Account once the Beta launch test phase finishes?
That’s simple, your Arro Account will be automatically transferred to our Public launch. This entitles you to a full Arro Account, you’ll have more added features to your account, such as setting up Direct Debits and Standing Orders. Your Arro Account will also switch from the Beta phase fee pricing to our regular fee bundle. 7. Protecting your money
Nothing changes – during our Beta launch phase, any funds you deposit into your Arro Account will safeguarded throughout the beta launch and beyond! This means that your funds will be deposited in a separate and secure bank account, specifically for the purpose of redeeming transactions made by your debit card. 8. If you want to close your Arro Account during the Beta launch phase
As a Founding Member we hope you’ll stay with us on the journey to make Arro Money everything you need and expect it to be. We’re incredibly excited to be approaching launch and can’t wait to hear from you, our customer and Founding Member! 9. Minimum £10 cash load onto card
In order to use your card you need to load funds onto it. The minimum amount that can be loaded is £10.
