Arro Money gives financial freedom to consumers

Why open an Arro Personal Account?

The simple, no-fuss money management made possible by Arro Personal Accounts is what appeals to many of our account holders, with the financial freedom to make payments and receive money into your account – and crucially for some account holders, no need to have a good credit rating.

Arro Personal Account holders include:

  • Young people who need to manage their own money for the first time.
  • People who have just moved into their first independent home.
  • New arrivals into the UK who don’t have a long-term address history here.
  • Foreign exchange students who need to manage money locally.
  • Account holders who just want the financial freedom of a secondary account with a payment card.

We just need to verify your ID in order to approve you for an account – your credit status doesn’t matter and you don’t need to prove years and years of past addresses, making an Arro account an option if you have been declared bankrupt or insolvent in the past, or if you have served a criminal conviction, for example.

Back on Track

Having restricted access to high street banking services can have a major hit on your lifestyle, and the basic bank accounts that are offered to individuals following bankruptcy or other credit problems often don’t really go far enough to meet the realistic needs of modern daily life.

With an Arro Personal Account, you can receive your salary or wages into the account and make Faster Payments transfers.  You get a debit card accepted by MasterCard retailers; and your sort code and account number allow family and friends to top up your account if you need a little extra help.

All of this makes for an extremely flexible way to manage your money, with the benefits of an online account dashboard, your MasterCard debit card, ATM cash withdrawals and ways to pay bills and one-off purchases via card, online funds transfer or cash in-store.

Fix a Bad Credit Record

Applying for an Arro Personal Account will not leave a black mark on your credit file, as there’s no need for us to check your credit history at all.

But as you use your account over the long term, keeping up to date on bills and payments, this will all help to build a more attractive picture when it comes to making future credit applications.

The Arro Personal Account is more than just a convenient way to manage your money with a bad credit record – it can also serve as a bridge to get back to a better credit rating, and best of all is that it puts you in charge of your finances with plenty of payment methods, rather than restricting you to only the bare basics that an account can offer.

Faster Payments

Many lifestyle contracts rely on your ability to make regular payments, and an Arro Personal Account is ideal for this, even as a secondary account to make it easier to keep an eye on your budget.

Access to the Faster Payments Service means that you can, if you wish, pay bills manually when you have money coming in – perfect if you don’t always get paid on the same day every month.

You can always login to your online account dashboard and see the list of payees you have set up and pay someone again quickly and easily using Faster Payments.

Apply in 3 Minutes

Stress-free money management starts from the moment you apply, with no background credit checks, just an automatic check that we can verify your ID.

We just need to confirm your name, age and UK address, along with a telephone number so we can send your virtual debit card details via SMS, and an email address to confirm your overall account application has been approved.

The whole process can be completed in under three minutes and you’ll have immediate access to transfer funds into your account and start spending using your virtual card – one of the absolute fastest ways to get a sort code, account number and debit card number of your own.
